First of all, it was so easy to inflate the mattress and I didn’t even use air pump. The material and the quality of the product are really good exceeding the expectation. Most of all, it is sooo comfortable and give enough softness and firmness at the same time. Would totally recommend this product!The one that I bought at Walmart was not waterproof and the fabric was easily worn out, so I bought another one from Amazon. It's light enough for kids to lift it and also perfect when I tan in the backyard. It's thick that I didn't feel the coldness of the ground and nice cushion. The color goes well with our tent and the price is reasonable. Recommend.The instructions were clear and the features make it a practical frequent go to for outdoor activities. Water resistance is a definite plus!This self inflatable pad is super easy to inflate, just unfold and partially unroll it and then open the valves. It takes a good 10 minutes or so to fully inflate but then you just close the valves and it's ready to use. One thing to note is that even though it has 2 valves, there is only one air chamber (you can't have one side with more air than the other). I found it to be very comfortable to lay on. It's easily large enough for 2 adults to sleep on and a double wide sleeping bag fits perfectly.It seems to be really well built of a fairly heavy duty fabric. I haven't had it very long so I can't say how long term durability will be. The pad is thick enough to prevent feeling minor bumps and uneven spots on the ground below. There are snaps on the sides so it looks like if you purchased 2 pads you could snap them together.Deflating and rolling up the pad is a 2 person job. It is really quite a chore. Opening the valves does not let any air out so the only way to get air out is to start rolling it up with the valves open. It's pretty difficult to get started rolling it up and then it takes quite a while to get the air squeezed out (about 10 minutes, just like the time it takes to inflate it). It takes a lot of hand strength to get the pad folded, rolled and fully deflated. The included storage bad is sized generous enough that it's easy to get the pad put in it.I deducted a star for the difficulty of rolling and deflating. Other than that it's a great double wide inflatable pad.I don't like blowing things up. I have bad memories of blowing up massive pool floaties that stink like chlorine. This is a great product for not doing much blowing up. On the other hand, the trade off is you have to work hard to roll and repack.The overall comfort level is higher than manual inflatable sleeping bags because it has more structure to make the self-inflation work. That also means it is heavier than manual inflatables and considerably bulkier. There's NO WAY you are going to want to carry this on a hike.You definitely want help if possible to do the deflation and rolling. You'll kneel on it and move around to squeeze different portions as you roll it while it is folded double. It is stiff. It will want to reflate itself at all times so you have to roll tightly and keep the pressure on. Apparently, we did a poor job of deflation because it was a very tight fit in the bag.If you want a comfortable pad that blows up easy and looks set to last, this is it. You just need some patience to deflate it.This sleeping pad is pure magic. You simply open it up and it inflates. I love to use at the beach under towels or at the pool. We even took it to and outside play in the park. Total crowd pleaser. The support is unbelievable and it reaaly comforts your body when on the ground. It cleans up and is easy to store since it has a sleeve. It does take two people to deflate and roll back up. One to roll and one to apply pressure.
