Browning Folding Camping Chair with Cup Holder - Portable Outdoor Fireside Chair for Backyard, Beach, Picnic & Camping Trips

I had one of these chairs for years and years. Loved it. Finally just wore out. So I bought the same exact one as a replacement. New one. What a piece of crap! They cheapened all the plastic parts. Arrived with a crack where the arm was riveted. That appeared like it would be OK. Not at a structural point. So I stored it in the camper and headed off on a 3 month trip. Got down south and finally had occasion to use the chair. I literally opened it up at a campsite, sat down, reached left for my soda bottle which was on the ground and the left back post fell backwards. I looked and the whole sliding mechanism that slides on that post had broken. I’m not a heavy person. I just reached down to get something. Didn’t even lean on the arm or the back. And it just broke. I liked at other side. Same piece on other side was cracked. I contacted Amazon even though I was away just to let them know. They said I had to work through manufacturer customer service first. Gave me the contact info. I then duct taped the broken part as I was at start of long trip and needed the chair. The duct tape worked more or less OK. Just had to keep resticking it and when chair was opened.Chair is now useless. Cost me nearly $150. Sat in it for less than 2 minutes. Naturally I’m outside the return window. Called Amazon. They gave me contact info for the company. They told me I had to send pictures. I sent pictures. Waited and waited. No response. Tried again to contact the woman that emailed me originally from the chair company. No response.Update 9/12. Amazon is amazing!!! I contacted them just on hopes maybe they could help me out. The chair was expensive! After looking into it the Amazon rep sent me a return label and told me to send back the chair for a full refund!!! Wow!!! After 6 months they are still behind their customers. Now that’s amazing. She’s giving me a gift card. So that seems really fair as they will get the money back from me on other purchases.
